Hope Caitlin is a 23-year-old poet, photographer and visual artist detailing her life in the prose of creative expression. Becoming chronically ill at the age of 11 she began online blogging her life and everyday experiences, transforming this into the language of visual art and poetry, which she now uses to gain insight into her reality and empower chronically ill and disabled young women, to discover themselves within a world that refuses to acknowledge their worth and significance.
‘Hearing people's connections to the work I make is an indescribable feeling. I don't think anything connects us the way art does - and for that, it's my favourite thing in the whole world.’
